Tito Ortiz on Cain Velasquez: "I Hope He Gives Dos Santos an A** Whipping"

The UFC will make its debut on Fox this weekend. Anticipation is building in fight fans and several fighters themselves surrounding the main event, which features UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and No. 1 challenger Junior dos Santos.

Velasquez won the championship when he defeated Brock Lesnar in Oct. 2010. However, he hasn't fought since due to injuries. He will enter the fight with a 7-0 record, which includes wins over Lesnar, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Cheick Kongo and Ben Rothwell.

Dos Santos is 13-1 in his career, with seven of those victories coming within the UFC. His wins include those over Shane Carwin, Fabricio Werdum, Roy Nelson, Gabriel Gonzaga, Mirko Cro Cop, Gilbert Yvel and Stefan Struve.

I love Cain. I hope he gives dos Santos an ass whippin'. I think dos Santos is a good guy, but his wrestling skills aren't even at the level of Cain. Cain's the world champ. As being another Latino fighter, and being another world champ, I want to see him be successful and do what he does best at, and that's kick ass.

If Cain executes his game of striking from the top and mixing it with takedowns and is on top, Velasquez wins. But if Junior lands a shot, a knockout shot, Junior wins for sure. If Cain sticks to his usual game, he has a very good game, he wins. I would like Junior to win though. I would like to fight him again.

Cain's got a little bit of an advantage with the wrestling, taking him down, but dos Santos is extremely athletic. The dude works hard. I don't see it going very long. Someone's going to get knocked out for sure, but I couldn't tell you who is going to win that fight.
