Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings: Ranking the Top WRs

Zach KruseNov 9, 2011

The following six receivers are the highest ranked fantasy receivers for Week 10 of the NFL season:

1. Calvin Johnson, Lions

At this point, Calvin Johnson is to fantasy receivers what Aaron Rodgers is to fantasy quarterbacks. No matter what the matchup, Johnson is going to produce elite-level numbers every single week. That won't change in Week 10 against the Bears.

2. Greg Jennings, Packers

Jennings has been automatic in 2011, too. In every game this season, Jennings has either one touchdown reception or over 80 yards receiving. He gets the Vikings this week, who Jennings has a touchdown catch against in four consecutive games.

3. Steve Smith, Panthers

Save one hiccup in a monsoon against the Jaguars, Smith has been as reliable as the two guys above him on this list. With Cam Newton in Carolina, Smith has five 100-yard games in eight tries in 2011. There's no reason why he can't make it six of nine this weekend against the Titans.

4. Vincent Jackson, Chargers

One concern here could be Jackson's sore hamstring on a short rest. Having said that, Jackson didn't look too hampered when he caught three scores against the Packers last week. Philip Rivers is still making bad decisions, but the choice to go to Jackson will always be his No. 1 pick.

5 (t). Julio Jones, Falcons

Yes, the Colts defense was part of the reason why Jones was able to explode for two long touchdowns in Week 9. Maybe he'll come back down to earth this week when the Saints come to town. Either way, I like what Matt Ryan and Jones have been able to develop, despite some injury issues.

If the Saints focus on Roddy White, Jones could have another big stat line.

5 (t). Mike Wallace, Steelers

The Bengals are far from a pushover in pass defense, but there haven't been many teams that can stop Wallace from getting behind their defense in 2011. The Steelers receiver has a touchdown catch in five of eight games and only twice has he been kept under 10 total fantasy points. He's still a safe bet this week.
