2011 PPR Fantasy Football Week 10: Flex Play Rankings / Projections

Michael Crabtree vs. Giants

While Michael Crabtree has only found the end zone once this year, he has had at least five receptions in four of his past five games. When you're picking up a point for each reception in PPR leagues, that means something, and it makes Crabtree a worthy WR-3 play on a weekly basis.

Despite Crabtree’s problems with Alex Smith in the past, it appears the veteran quarterback is favoring him as the top target in the passing game lately, and his success should continue. This week the 49ers will take on a suspect Giants secondary.

Look for the 49ers to torment the Giants on the ground with Frank Gore and Co., and then it will open things up for Crabtree and the passing game, as the contest moves along. This should be a good game and could be one of the rare times the 49ers are forced to score close to 30 points to win.

Chris Ogbonnaya vs. Rams

Last week was bad for starting tailback Crhis Ogbonnaya but as long as he keeps the starting job with Peyton Hillis out again, he should have respectable production this week. The Rams have struggled against the run, and throw in Ogbonnaya’s work in the passing game, and you have a running back fit to be your flex play option this week in PPR leagues.
