Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups: Roy Helu Leads Set of Bargain Fantasy Studs

It's time to go shopping, but we don't need cash or credit cards. We only need a decent waiver priority and some knowledge on who the week 10 sleepers are. 

This week is no different from any other this season. If your teams are anything like mine, you currently own a star player that has been a useful as an Atari controller, a player that is more brittle than Mr. Glass in Unbreakable and a couple slots open because of a stupid bye. 

Follow with me as we try to figure this crazy thing out together. Here is a list of a few waiver-wire players that will make all the pain go away. 

Fantasy football is not for the faint of heart. It may not be for those that even know a thing about football as can be seen by the myriad that drafted Chris Johnson. Here are the cheap solution available in most Yahoo Leagues. 

Roy Helu

Home slice got the start and then he got a boatload of yards. The running back caught 14 passes last week for 105 yards against a team that handles running backs very well. 

Now he faces a Dolphins team that handles nothing well. Your task is to get him on your team and start him. There is no way he doesn't improve on an already great stint as the Redskins starter. 

Tim Tebow

So he may be available in only 43 percent of Yahoo Leagues, but that is shocking considering the fact he just threw up a 27 spot last weekend. Tebow is not a great quarterback, but he is a nice fantasy option. 

You can bank that he will run for a great many yards on the Chiefs and do enough by air to get him another 25 points on Sunday. 

Colt McCoy

I will bank on McCoy coming back to the form he was at toward the start of the season. He has fallen on hard times, but brighter days are ahead. 

The Rams are kind to quarterbacks, and didn't exactly stop a subpar Cardinals offense last week. McCoy is going to have another near-20-point day thanks to the hapless bunch from St. Louis.
