Week 10 Waiver Wire: Roy Helu Jr. and Others to Add

Chris TrapassoNov 8, 2011

There are a handful of guys that are likely on your fantasy league's waiver wire that you must pick up this instant.

I outlined a few of the other smart adds for this week earlier today, but these three players will be beneficial for at least a few weeks while you deal with injuries and teams on the bye in Week 11...

Helu Jr. was the check down option for John Beck last week against the 49ers, and with limited explosiveness on the Redskins, expect more of this as the season progresses. He also received 10 carries to Ryan Torain's one.

I'm never quite sure which running back Mike Shanahan is going to feature each week, but it looks like this rookie running back will be a receiving option in the Redskins' last eight games.

A decent flex option with potential.

Torrey Smith

Smith is only owned in 24 percent of ESPN leagues, so there's a chance he's waiting for you to pick up him right now.

He has battled the drops, but it's pretty clear that Joe Flacco has a confidence in his rookie wide receiver.

Smith will become a more integral part of the offense as the season wears on, and he's shown the ability to come up big when it matters most.

Oh yeah, and he scores touchdowns.

He's got four of them on the year and has three or more catches in each of the last four games for the Ravens.

Earl Bennett

If the Chicago Bears continue to protect Jay Cutler the way they have in the last three games, Bennett could be in for a breakout second half of the season.

He was Cutler's favorite target against the Eagles (five catches, 95 yards 1 TD) and looks to be fully healed from a severe chest injury that sidelined him since Week 2.

Out of the slot, he'll see weaker cornerbacks, and he is great working across the middle.

Go grab him; he's a fantastic add and is available in nearly all ESPN leagues.
