Week 10 Waiver Wire: Advice for Desperate Fantasy Football Team Owners
If you're one of those fantasy football owners mired in last place of your league, it's time to start taking desperate measures on the waiver wire to get back into the playoff race.
Here's some high risk, high reward moves you could try:
Grab Tim Tebow

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After last week's showing against the Lions, around 20 percent of owners who had Tim Tebow dropped him. He's still hard to find in most leagues, but if you can get him in yours, do not hesitate to pull the trigger.
There's the risk of Tebow having another Lions-type game, but even in that game he scored a respectable amount of fantasy points.
In games like last week, Tebow is a top 5-7 fantasy quarterback. And if you're really in need of a miracle for your fantasy team, who else would you want leading it?
If that fails...
If Tebow is gone, there is still another option that can help turn things around: Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer.
He threw for three touchdowns and over 300 yards against the Broncos, and while he also had three picks, I'd expect those to start going down as the comfort level increases in the offense.
If you look at the Raiders schedule, Palmer should have the opportunity to put up big numbers in the coming weeks.
Find a back with big potential
Any back who is going to see the majority of his team's carries and can also contribute in the passing game can be considered a "big potential" back. Who are some examples available?
Roy Helu of the Washington Redskins is one, as he got 24 touches in the Redskins' 19-11 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. He did his major work in the receiving game, catching a franchise-record 14 passes for 105 yards. He should get more starts and touches moving forward.
Reggie Bush is another, but it's possible that he's already on a roster. If he isn't, there is some serious potential here. Over his past two games, Bush has tallied over 260 yards of total offense. You'd have to expect Bush to continue getting fed the football down the stretch.
Look for matchups
With receivers, it's best to look at the best matchups you can find and spot-start guys. Steve Breaston of the Chiefs is a good bet against the Broncos in Week 10, as is Damien Williams of the Titans in Carolina.
Bears receiver Earl Bennett had his best game of the season against the Eagles and will likely be leaned on heavily when the Lions come to Chicago.
Finally, don't sleep on the Cowboys' Laurent Robinson, who has filled in well for injured receivers this season. Miles Austin is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks. There should be plenty of opportunities available against a weak Bills pass defense.
