Week 10 Fantasy Rankings: Quarterbacks (QB) Rankings / Projections

Tim Tebow @ Chiefs – 

This time a week ago fantasy owners had to wonder if Tim Tebow would play well enough against the Raiders to even finish the game, let alone be a viable fantasy option. While the media seemed to rip Tebow up one side and down the other all week, he found a way to lead his team to a road victory against the Raiders.

Tebow won’t have the typical stat line we’re used to seeing from a top ten fantasy quarterback, but he proved this week he needs to be in lineups. One area of Tebow’s game that won’t go away is his ability in the running game, and he’s capable of posting over 75 yards a week in this area.

Even on bad weeks, Tebow is likely to land you about 20 points in most fantasy leagues and on his best days he can give you over 40 points. Get him in the lineup this week against an exposed Chiefs’ defense, and he should reward you with up to 30 points this week, as he will likely run for over 100 yards again.

Tom Brady @ Jets –

It’s hard to knock the Patriots for trading away Randy Moss a year ago as the star receiver seemed to pack it in after it was apparent that he wouldn’t receive the contract he thought he deserved. That said, his absence from the offense, left a void in the Patriots offense that has yet to be filled and likely won’t happen this year, and that is a vertical threat.

While the Giants and Steelers did a great job of getting to Tom Brady in recent weeks, the fact that they don’t have to respect the deep ball, helps defense and it’s seems like Brady’s fantasy numbers are hurting because of it. Yes, Brady threw for over 300 yards against the Giants, but that was manly because they were playing from behind at the end and had to throw.

This week Brady heads out to New York to take on a Jets defense playing at a top level and you might want to consider benching Brady for another option. If in your lineup, expect around 15 fantasy points this week.
