NFL Week 10 Predictions: Projecting the Biggest Fantasy Football Duds
The following four players are weekly starters in fantasy football regardless of their consistency—or lack thereof.
However, this week they will be duds, thanks to unfavorable matchups. Now, it's not the worst move in the world to start them, as they do have the ability to dominate—just don't be surprised when they get shut down.
Brandon Marshall: WR, Miami (vs Washington)

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Last week against the Chiefs, Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall had his third 100-yard game of the season along with a season high eight catches.
But Marshall still only has two TDs on the year, and if the Washington Redskins have any strengths, it's their solid pass rush combined with a respectable pass defense. Marshall will be double-covered and Matt Moore will be under duress for much of the game.
That said, it's not a bad idea to look at Miami RB Daniel Thomas, because Washington is more susceptible to giving up yards on the ground.
A.J. Green: WR, Cincinnati (vs Pittsburgh)
Besides Jerome Simpson, Bengals rookie WR A.J. Green is Cincinnati's only receiving threat. It is nice having two solid targets for rookie QB Andy Dalton, but this week the Steelers invade.
Despite losing twice to Baltimore, Pittsburgh still has a Top 5 pass defense. Not to mention they weren't fully healthy last week—they'll be in better shape this week.
A.J. Green may have a decent day receiving, but don't count on anything big because The Steel Curtain is going to blanket him all game long.
In addition, you can expect Dalton to be blitzed until the Bengals offensive line crumbles for good.
Jay Cutler: QB, Chicago (vs Detroit)
The Bears continue to win because of great coaching by Lovie Smith and Mike Martz, who continue to craft perfect game plans.
Bears RB Matt Forte virtually does everything on offense and the defense is much-improved. QB Jay Cutler has lately taken a backseat. Cutler is still a solid fantasy QB because of his strong arm, and he has some speedy WRs.
But if there's anything the Lions are good at defensively, it's defending the pass. In turn, expect Forte to once again be the Bears' workhorse. Most of Cutler's pass yards will come from screens and check-downs.
Martz is going to continue pulling back the reins on Cutler, who has only thrown six INTs this season (on pace for a career low)
Fred Jackson: RB, Buffalo (at Dallas)
It's hard not to start Bills RB Fred Jackson—and he should earn you another start this week against Dallas.
Just be aware that Jackson's not going to hit his average numbers because the Cowboys rank No. 10 against the rush—much better than the Jets, who also held him in check.
Big D is going to really focus on stopping Fred Jackson because it clearly worked for both the Jets and the Bengals (Cincy held Jackson to 66 yards and won).
Jackson is the key to Buffalo's offense—he has enabled them to set up the play-action early and often, allowing the Bills to be so successful in the passing game.
Dallas will fully commit to shutting Jackson down, and although he won't be nearly as productive as his averages, he'll still be better than most other RBs, so starting him won't cause too much damage.
