NFL Power Rankings: Identifying the Biggest Offensive Juggernauts
While the offensively-dominant football we saw in the early part of the NFL season has tapered off somewhat, that doesn't mean that the league lacks offensive powerhouses as we head into Week 10.
Three strong offensive teams appear in the top 10 of my power rankings this week; they have few troubles moving the ball at will and boast some of the most productive quarterbacks, most reliable and explosive receivers and best running backs in the league.
The Green Bay Packers are the No. 1 team in my power rankings yet again, and they've achieved their undefeated record on the merits of their league-leading offense.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has completed 72.5 percent of his 265 passing attempts, for 2,619 yards, 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions and has rushed for 127 yards and two more scores.
Predictably, his numerous receivers have had impressive years, especially considering how many Rodgers throws to—13, so far this season, with Greg Jennings leading the pack with 48 receptions on 66 targets, for 723 yards and six touchdowns.
While the Packers' run game could be better—it's led by James Starks, who has 96 rushes for 440 yards and just one score—it doesn't need to be, with that aerial production working wonders for the defending Super Bowl champions.
The New England Patriots have lost two games in a row, but that is more the fault of the team's declining defense rather than their offense, which is one of the top five in the league.
Like the Green Bay Packers, the Patriots are far more productive in the air than on the ground, but it's managed to propel them to five wins and a tenuous share of the AFC East.
Led by quarterback Tom Brady, New England has a total of 3,498 yards on the season, with 2,605 of them and 20 touchdowns coming from the passing game. Another six scores and 893 yards have come via the run.
Brady has thrown to 11 players so far this season, with receiver Wes Welker seeing the lion's share of his attention, targeted 92 times and catching 66 of them for 960 yards and six scores.
A pattern is clearly emerging when it comes to talking about the NFL's most productive offenses, and it's that each team's quarterback successfully completes passes to a high number of targets.
That's a trait that New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has in common with both Brady and Rodgers, throwing passes to 12 different receivers, with his primary target being tight end Jimmy Graham.
Brees has thrown to Graham 82 times, for 55 completions resulting in 714 yards and five touchdowns, helping the quarterback along to being the league's leading passer through the first nine weeks of the season.
Brees has completed an astounding 269 passes this season, for 3,004 yards and 21 touchdowns, and with so many weapons at his disposal, he won't likely slow down any time soon.
Making a huge difference for the Saints this year is running back Darren Sproles, who has far more versatility than his counterparts on the Packers and Patriots. Sproles has rushed 49 times for 347 yards and two scores and caught 56 passes for 446 yards and three more touchdowns.
While having a top offense won't guarantee any team a Super Bowl championship, it will certainly serve to propel one to the playoffs. And it's definitely enough to put a team in the top 10 of the power rankings and keep them there.
