San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants: NBC Should Flex This Heavyweight Battle
If ever there was a game worthy of moving directly into prime time, the San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants game fits the bill. NBC should flex this battle of the heavyweights.
In ancient battles, occasionally two great warrior enemies would meet one another in the battlefield.
When this occurred, all the other warriors would stop so they could watch.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is the sense of anticipation that fans have for the game on Sunday at Candlestick Park.
The thing is, players are fans, too. When a game of this quality comes around, they like to watch the pissing contest just as much as we do.
This game will feature two of the best four or five teams in the league. It's almost as big as 'Bama vs. LSU.
Both teams are playing with some serious chips on their shoulders. Both teams feature head coaches that burn with the fire of competition.
The battle in the trenches will be primeval.
This is an epic East vs. West slugfest. The fans at Candlestick will be unleashing their decade's worth of pent up frustration as they finally have something to cheer about.
One of the biggest questions I have is whether or not there will be a pregame fight.
Last week, Vernon Davis pulled the equivalent of taking a leak in the middle of Fed Ex Field when he interrupted the Redskins pregame warm-ups to talk some smack.
The levels of testosterone are running high with these men during this time of the year, and they will be about as fired up as rutting elephants.
You do not want to mess with an elephant in rut, in case you didn't already know.
We all want to see these heavyweights square off, so NBC should flex this game into prime time.
