Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
John Clayton of ESPN has some positive news for Mathews.
This confirms what we thought earlier in this week but now you should feel very comfortable putting him your starting lineup for fantasy purposes.
The San Diego Chargers' star running back was starting to put things together this year, but has not been able to stay on the field long enough to merit major headlines.
He missed the Green Bay game with a groin injury but is, however, expected to be back in the lineup on Thursday after a short week according to Rotoworld:
This is great news for a team that cannot afford to lose a division game. It looks like the Chargers were saving Mathews, knowing they needed to be at full strength for Thursday.
Wasting him on a non-conference game would have been foolish.
Any chance of an AFC West team pulling out a wild-card berth is rather slim at the moment. The AFC North and AFC East simply have too much talent.
As for fantasy owners, expect to see Mathews start, but still lose carries to Mike Tolbert.
The Chargers have themselves a nice running back duo, but Mathews owners can feel confident that Philip Rivers and coach Norv Turner would love nothing more than to give Mathews more opportunities.
He has shown to be playmaker at times this season.
More will be updated throughout the week, but expect Ryan Mathews to be in the starting lineup this week for the San Diego Chargers.
