Is the sky falling in New England Patriots land?
No, but take a look at what booze—plus a guy who looks to be in his mid-20s and an angry mob of Patriots fans—can do in an instant.
It goes to show that football games, even with the technological advancements in helping security find people who are being too loud or belligerently drunk, are still one big powder keg of emotion that is ready to explode at any given moment.
But, probably today the men involved in this video went into work and shared a nice laugh with their buddies about how they got into a fight in the stands.
I’m sure the guy who threw the upper cuts like he was Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic, is showing his buddies this YouTube video and pointing out how much of a tough guy he is.
However, what these men should be afraid of is the legal ramifications this YouTube video could bring.
Sure, the guy in the Mayo jersey got his face caved in, but he cannot go back and press charges, because he was the one who threw the first punch.
If anything, the wannabe Lucic in the black long-sleeve shirt could press charges on the kid for assaulting him.
It’s a shame that this continues in our stands. Sure, it makes for a great video to watch, but getting your face caved in after spending hundreds of dollars for those seats is not the way to spend a Sunday afternoon/evening.
As that voice from off-camera yells, “Same Team!”
Yes, same team, gentlemen. Hopefully for you, this video does not come back to haunt you.
