UPDATE: Monday, Nov. 7, 2:05 p.m. ET by Donald Wood
The Dallas Cowboys have been sending mixed signals about the health of Felix Jones, but they will remain committed to him no matter how well DeMarco Murray does because of the money they invested.
Columnist and TV analyst for Fox Sports Southwest Matt Mosley is reporting on Twitter:
I still think he will miss Week 10’s game, but when he does come back, the Cowboys will get pressure from Jerry Jones to infuse Felix Jones into the game plan.
Fantasy Impact
Enjoy it while it lasts folks, because the backfield in Dallas will be getting very complicated soon. With the imminent return of Felix Jones, the carries will have to be split up and the guessing game about who will get the bulk of the work will start to cascade over the team.
Who's the Backup?
In DeMarco Murray’s short time as the starting running back of the Dallas Cowboys, he has shown just how good he can be. When Jones comes back from his injury the two will split carries, but Murray will still be heavily involved.
Devastation Scale (2 out of 10)
The Dallas Cowboys have found an excellent replacement for Felix Jones during his injury in DeMarco Murray, but the two will be almost certainly splitting carries when Jones is healthy.
