WWE News: Former WWE Diva Chyna to Recieve an Award; Yes, It's for That

According to wrestlinginc.com, "The Ninth Wonder of the World" will be receiving an award for her starring role in the adult film "Backdoor to Chyna."

Chyna will be given the "Mainstream to Porn Crossover Award"; this honor will happen Friday, Nov. 11, at the Fleshbot Awards.

Chyna had the following to say about this achievement:

I'm really tickled by this award.

I started having a great time from the minute Steven Hirsch of Vivid gave me the green light to make my first movie with his studio, it's been non-stop glamorous fun ever since. It's been quite a dramatic change for me to make the transition from being the 'Ninth Wonder of the World' to sexy porn star. But, I knew what I wanted and it turned out to be the absolute right decision for me. I'm loving every minute.

"

I guess this will be one more achievement to add to her Wikipedia page.

Personally, I really hope this turns into a positive for Chyna and that she is able to make something of this. Especially considering she pretty much blew up her chances at returning to the WWE when she appeared at TNA's Sacrifice pay-per-view.

Shortly after that, TNA cut ties with her when she announced her plans of becoming an adult film star.

Granted the adult film world has a reputation of being a seedy and shady business. However, couldn't the same can be said about pro-wrestling?
