Peyton Hillis Injury: Updates on Browns Star's Week 10 Status and Fantasy Value

When Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis was voted to be on the cover of the Madden '12 video game, the first thought that went through everyone's mind is how his season was ruined because of the curse. 

It turns out that a contract dispute, ear infection and a hamstring injury are all part of the curse, because those have robbed Hillis of all the things that made him special last season. 

Hillis has missed the last three games with the hamstring injury, and his status for Week 10 against the Rams does not look good. 

Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said after Sunday's loss to Houston that Hillis is not going to be placed on Injured Reserve, but according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, he will not be available for Sunday's game against St. Louis.

Coach Pat Shurmur said today that running back Peyton Hillis is definitely out for Sunday's game at Cleveland Browns Stadium against the St. Louis Rams and that running back Montario Hardesty most likely will also miss the game.

Hillis' disappointing season is not getting any better, and to expect him to have any kind of impact for your fantasy team over the final seven weeks of the year is insane. That big contract that he wants has also gone by the wayside.

Losing Hillis and Hardesty puts the Browns in an even bigger hole at running back. The dynamic duo of Chris Ogbonnaya and Thomas Clayton only combined for 44 yards against the Texans.
