LSU vs. Alabama Brawl Video: Watch Tailgaters Fight Before Game of the Century

The biggest game of the 2011 college football season was physical on the field as well as off. 

Is anyone really surprised by this, though? 

We all knew that LSU and Alabama would be a hard fought game, but with so many people in Tuscaloosa for the game, you had to know tempers were going to flare among fans. 

Tailgating in the south is a true art, and when SEC fans get an entire day to eat, drink and be merry, fights are bound to happen. 

The game didn't kick-off till 8:00 p.m. ET, and fans were likely out tailgating in the early morning. When you get a bunch of fans drinking all day, bad things are much more likely to occur. 

The fighting in this video only lasts a minute or two, and it is difficult to see what is truly going on in some parts. The rest of the video is people in awe over what happened and just talking about it. And, of course, there is a police sighting. No fight video would be complete without the cops showing up somewhere. 

However, with such a large cluster of people around, it would be hard to figure out who started what. Granted, there were probably a few rats peppered in the crowd that would be open to spilling the beans. 

Amidst all the craziness, some poor fan gets his tent broken, and, in a few spots, it appears there's some 'Bama on 'Bama action, which is strange. Must have been an Auburn fan. 

Perhaps the best part of the video is the one guy right around the 10-second mark just screaming obscenities and shouting, "Roll Tide!" over and over. Yes, I'm talking about the guy in the black shirt with a wad of tobacco is his mouth, complete with the fish hook on his hat.  He pretty much sums up why a fight probably went down in the first place.
