WWE Monday Night Raw: The Return of Brodus Clay Is the Shot Raw Needs

Hello Bleachers!  It's been awhile since I've written anything here on Bleacher Report as nothing much has changed in the WWE and I didn't want to be repeating things.  However, my interest is officially piqued from something I saw on SmackDown this past Friday.  

Brodus Clay is returning this Monday night!

As a fan who has grown weary of every heel not named Mark Henry being cowardly, this is a good sign.

Before he left, Brodus was poised to become a dominant monster heel until the poor guy got involved in a feud between Alberto Del Rio and John Cena.  He didn't stand a chance.  Hopefully this time, he will be on his own and create his own path of destruction similar to what Mark Henry has been doing on the blue brand.

Clay has the look, agility, skill and mic skills to go really far in this industry.  He has been on a couple of live shows overseas and has been squashing the competition he has been facing, so expect no less for a couple of weeks after his re-introduction to television.

The only issue is, who will be his first legitimate feud when he's done re-establishing himself to the masses.

Kane comes to mind first.  He can still go in the ring, and is well-seasoned enough to get Brodus over in a big way.  Justin Gabriel could gain a lot from a feud with a great heel as he has been stuck away to the side.  If he is not on his way out the WWE door as rumours seem to point to, John Morrison could have a great feud with Brodus as well.

I would like to see him go with Sheamus as well eventually. It would be too much to ask to get a feud with a face Tyler Reks , but that would be fun as well.  Only, nobody cares about Reks, so they would have to get him over first.

Whoever he gets put in a feud with, I wish him the best.  I haven't been this excited for a heel to come to TV since ADR debuted.  Brodus Clay could be a shot in the arm that Raw desperately needs right now.
