BCS Standings: SEC Teams Make Up 6 of the Top 20 in New Standings
ESPN has just released this week's updated BCS standings.
With LSU beating Alabama and Arkansas defeating South Carolina this weekend, there was movement among SEC teams within the rankings.
Six teams (an impressive 30 percent of the top 20 teams in the latest standings) are Southeastern Conference programs.

Auburn: No. 20

They moved up two spots this week, from 22nd a week ago, while being idle with a bye week.
The Tigers are 6-3 on the season and 4-2 in Southeastern Conference play.
Games Remaining Against BCS Top 25 Teams: No. 15 Georgia, No. 3 Alabama
Projected Finish: 7-5 record and finish outside of the BCS Top 25.
Georgia: No. 15

They moved up three spots this week, from 18th a week ago, after a lopsided win over New Mexico State on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are 7-2 on the season and 5-1 in Southeastern Conference play.
Games Remaining Against BCS Top 25 Teams: No. 20 Auburn, No. 21 Georgia Tech
Projected Finish: 10-2 record and a Top 10 BCS ranking going into the SEC Championship Game.
South Carolina: No. 13

They moved down four spots this week, from 9th a week ago, after losing to Arkansas on the road this past Saturday.
The Gamecocks are 7-2 on the season and 5-2 in Southeastern Conference play.
Games Remaining Against BCS Top 25 Teams: No. 9 Clemson
Projected Finish: 9-3 record and a Top 20 finish in the BCS standings.
Arkansas: No. 8

They moved down a spot this week, from 7th a week ago, even though they beat a good South Carolina team on Saturday.
The Razorbacks are 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in Southeastern Conference play.

Projected Finish: 10-2 record and a top 10 finish in the BCS standings.
Alabama: No. 3

They moved down a spot since last week, from 2nd a week ago, after losing to top-ranked LSU on Saturday.
The Tide are 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in Southeastern Conference play.

Projected Finish: 11-1 record with a 3rd place finish, before the bowl games, in the BCS standings.
