Ravens vs. Steelers: Big Ben Will Lead Pittsburgh to Revenge Win Over Balitimore

Mick AkersNov 6, 2011

Sweet revenge will be on the minds of the Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, as their bitter AFC North Rival Baltimore Ravens roll into town after already destroying the Steelers 35-7 in Week 1.

The teams are headed in different directions right now as the Steelers are on a four-game winning streak and fresh off a big win over the New England Patriots last week, as the Ravens are one-and-one in their last two games, and won a squeaker come-from-behind win last week against the lowly Arizona Cardinals.

Big Ben and the Steelers have their offense on a different level then they were in Week 1 when Roethlisberger threw for three interceptions, and are now getting the ball down field by spreading out defenders.

In the Steelers four-game win streak, Roethlisberger has thrown for 11 touchdowns and just two interceptions. The team is poised to extract revenge against the Ravens and their No. 3 Ranked pass defense tonight.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco has been struggling in his past four games, as he has thrown for four interceptions and just one touchdown.

Flacco's game won't get any better as the Steelers' defense is the No. 1 ranked pass defense in the NFL, making for yet another long night for Flacco.

Don't expect Ray Rice to have a huge game as he did against the Steelers in Week 1 when he ran for 107 yards and scored two total touchdowns.

Pittsburgh has since worked their kinks out since then and are the No. 8 ranked rush defense in the NFL and Rice has just one other 100-yard rushing game this season.

With all the signs pointing to a Steelers victory, it looks like revenge will indeed be had by Pittsburgh tonight in prime time.
