Fred Jackson, Frank Gore and Michael Turner are all destined to have massive games in Week 9 of the NFL schedule.

Here is why each will be successful.

If the Buffalo Bills are going to move two games ahead of the New York Jets in the loss column, their running back will have to play a major role in the game.

No worries, though, he has done it all season long.

Jackson has been the go-to guy for the Bills offense with 721 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 5.5 yards per carry this season.

Not only can Jackson rush the ball well but he is also one of the best dual-threat running backs in the league. He has caught 27 balls out of the backfield.

Frank Gore

There have been few running backs in the NFL that have been as productive as Gore.

Washington is allowing 120 yards per game on the ground. They have allowed six touchdowns on the ground, and Gore will be the seventh to reach the pylon.

Even with Alex Smith and his lack of passing production, Gore has been able to carry the offense to a 6-1 record.

Gore has 675 yards and five touchdowns on 4.8 yards per carry this year and has rushed for over 100 yards in each of the last four games. It's no coincidence that San Francisco has won each of those contests.

Michael Turner

Atlanta will be on the road on Sunday to play the winless Indianapolis Colts. The Colts sport the 31st rank rush defense in the NFL, and Turner will make it worse.

Turner has nabbed 621 yards and six touchdowns on the season. Indianapolis has allowed 10 touchdowns this year on the ground and are consistently getting gashed.

Atlanta has quietly won two games in a row before going on their bye. Turner and the Falcons will come out fresh and rested to beat the Colts.
