Pacquiao vs. Marquez: Pac-Man Will Deliver Brutal KO in 3rd Edition of Fight
The first two Pacquiao versus Marquez fights were so spectacular, nearly everyone is expecting the third edition of the fight to go the distance. Rest assured, it won't.
Pacquiao has the upper hand, and it's not even close. He's the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and a seasoned Marquez is simply out of his league this time around.
Marquez is one of the only fighters to really present a challenge to Pac-Man, but a brutal knockout is the only logical conclusion to this fight.
Pacquiao knows that toying with his food in this fight is the only way Marquez has a shot at it. While it may appear as though going for the quick knockout will take Pacquiao out of his game, getting involved in a chess match like he did in his first two fights with Marquez.
Pacquiao has underrated defense, but it's his ability to deliver a flurry of punches and maintain knockout power that really sets him apart.
Expect Pacquiao to take care of this fight in the early rounds. An anticlimactic early knockout isn't the fight the masses are looking for, but it's the one that is coming.
Despite their close fights in the past, there is a huge gap between these two fighters. Pacquiao is an overwhelming favorite, as he should be. Those who look at the past collisions between these two and suggest this fight will play out as those did are misled.
This one is going to be short and sweet. Obviously, Mayweather versus Pacquiao has been drawing a ton of attention. After Pacquiao makes quick work of Marquez, it will be even more clear that only Mayweather can challenge Pacquiao, and vice versa.
