Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: DeMarco Murray & RBs You Must Bench
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is one of several RBs you would be foolish to start on your fantasy football team in Week 9 of the NFL season.
Selecting who to start and who to sit are the most important fantasy decisions you will make all week, and with the fantasy playoffs approaching, you cannot afford to make the wrong roster moves.
Let's look at three running backs you must bench this week.

Report: Rodgers Gets 'Rare' Tender

Re-Drafting the Last 5 Rookie Classes 🤯
1. DeMarco Murray
DeMarco Murray rushed for just 74 yards last week against an average Philadelphia Eagles run defense, and with a tough matchup against the Seattle Seahawks' rushing defense this week, Murray will struggle to be effective.
The Cowboys' offense is struggling, and quarterback Tony Romo should take over the offense and pass the ball often because he and the talented Dallas wide receivers give the team the best chance to win.
Murray will struggle this week against the talented front seven of the Seahawks' defense; do not start him this week.
2. Chris Johnson
Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson has been the biggest disappointment of the fantasy football season. He rushed for only 34 yards last week on 14 carries.
His opponent last week was the Indianapolis Colts, who have the worst rush defense in football, and Johnson still could not find success.
The Titans might start Javon Ringer this week at running back after he out-performed Johnson in Week 8.
Don't even think about starting Johnson this week.
3. Ryan Mathews
San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews has been a good fantasy performer this season, but he is battling a groin injury this week and did not practice Friday.
His status for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers is uncertain, but even if he does play, he probably won't start.
Battling an injury and going up against a top Packers defense should make you not start Mathews this week.
