Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Sleepers Who You Need to Start

Michael MillNov 5, 2011

We are coming to the end of the weeks where you need to grab sleepers to fill voids in your roster to make up for teams on bye weeks.

This weekend, there are many valuable sleepers that could be the difference between vaulting you to a playoff berth in your league or going home early.

Here are three sleepers you need to grab and start this weekend.

Michael Bush, RB (Oakland)

The Oakland Raiders had a bye week for Darren McFadden's foot to heal up for this week's game against the Denver Broncos.

Apparently it hasn't healed enough. McFadden will be on the bench this weekend.

With or without McFadden, the Raiders have a good running game.

Michael Bush carried the ball 17 times for 99 yards against Kansas City in Week 7. He should be able to put up better stats against the Denver Broncos this week.

Jonathan Baldwin, WR (Kansas City)

The Kansas City Chiefs are really starting to click on all cylinders.

Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston and now Jonathan Baldwin are contributing to a passing attack that has been fantastic the last couple weeks.

Baldwin was injured early in the season, but in his second game back, he caught five passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.

This week, the Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins, who average 24.6 points to opposing fantasy receivers.

Sam Bradford (St. Louis)

This one is a little risky, since Sam Bradford isn't officially listed as the starter for this weekend.

It does appear that he will be ready to go come game time against the Arizona Cardinals.

Last week, we saw what the St. Louis offense was capable of now that they have a receiving threat in Brandon Lloyd.

I like A.J. Feeley, but he isn't even close to being the quarterback Bradford is. Look for Bradford to do great things in his first game back under center with a new weapon.
