Green Bay Packers vs. San Diego Chargers: Spread Info, Line and Predictions
The Green Bay Packers are in a class of their own. They caught fire in the playoffs a season ago and haven't looked back since. Aaron Rodgers is running away with the MVP, and at this point it doesn't look like anyone is going to be able to dethrone them.
Their next victim is the San Diego Chargers, who are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at the hands of a Philip Rivers boneheaded fumble.
The Packers are coming off a bye, the Chargers had a short week to prepare. Everything about this game screams blowout. Let's take a closer look to see just how significant the carnage is going to be.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Where: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
When: Sunday at 4:15 p.m. ET

Spread: Green Bay -6
Take the Packers -6. Am I missing something? Philip Rivers is playing like garbage, the Chargers' "signature win" came over the Chiefs when the Chiefs weren't capable of beating anyone and the Packers have beaten every team they've faced by at least six. This is a slam dunk.
Over/Under: 50.5
Take the over. We all know the Packers are going to score their fair share of points. They've produced 30 or more points in four of their seven games this season. Even better, the Chargers are going to air it out against the Packers, who happen to have the 2nd-worst pass defense in the NFL.

Fantasy Big Plays
Jordy Nelson has been up and down all season long. In his second, fourth and sixth games, he racked up over 80 yards. In his first, third, fifth and seventh games, he didn't. It's time for him to bounce back after a less-than-stellar outing last week. He's not Greg Jennings, but Nelson is the beneficiary of a stacked offense and an elite quarterback. Expect a huge week from the inconsistent but always dangerous Nelson.
Vincent Jackson is bound for glory this week. Rivers hasn't been on point, but Jackson is going to rip apart the Packers' porous secondary. Jackson had a relatively quiet October, aside from one big game against the Dolphins. The Chargers are going to air it out, trying to come back from behind. Jackson is long overdue for an absurd outing.
Keys to a Packers Win
Get involved in a shootout early. Rodgers vs. Rivers in a shootout gives the Chargers no chance. Rivers has had problems being smart with the football. Nobody has figured out how to stop Rodgers and the Packers' passing offense yet. The Chargers don't have the means to hang with Green Bay in a shootout.
Attack Rivers. Clay Matthews and the Packers don't have to worry about the Chargers' banged up backfield carving them up. They can really pin their ears back and force Rivers into making the sort of mistakes their defense makes a living off of.
Keys to a Chargers Win
Keep Rodgers on the sideline. The Chargers have to win time of possession, sustain long drives and dictate the tempo of this game to have any shot at winning. Exchanging punches with the Packers' explosive offense is a recipe for disaster.
Protect the football. Last week, Rivers fumbled the snap and essentially lost the game for the Chargers. The Chargers have elite players in their locker room, but they are grossly underachieving. Given the way they are playing and how white hot the Packers are, the Chargers have to win the turnover battle to win.
Prediction
Packers 34, Chargers 24
