Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings: Matt Schaub and More QBs Who Will Let You Down
Sometimes, the winning team is the wrong one to be on in fantasy football. These three quarterbacks all have solid chances at Week 9 wins, but none will put up numbers to help their fantasy owners:
Matt Schaub, Houston
Despite early-week hopes to the contrary, Schaub will again be without his favorite target in Week 9. Andre Johnson will miss yet another game as he rehabs his tender hamstring.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Against the surprisingly dangerous Cleveland pass defense—the league’s second-best—Schaub was already a risky play. With Johnson out, the Texans’ quarterback belongs on your fantasy bench.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo
Betting against the Jets’ pass defense, which is ranked seventh in the league, is rarely a good idea. Even as well as Ryan Fitzpatrick has played this season, a matchup with New York is too much for him to handle.
The Jets are far more vulnerable on the ground, so Fred Jackson will be carrying the Buffalo offense this week. With his attempts likely to be minimized, Fitzpatrick just won’t have the opportunity to put up big numbers.
Joe Flacco, Baltimore
Pittsburgh’s red-hot defense is a tough matchup for any quarterback, as Tom Brady learned last weekend. Flacco has neither Brady’s talent nor his receiving corps, and even if injuries slow the Steeler pass rush somewhat, he won’t have much time to make plays.
With the Ravens on the road, their best chance will be to load up on Ray Rice and trust their own defense. That’s bad news for Flacco’s chances in fantasy play.
