Fantasy Tips: Buy Em and Trade Em
Fantasy Tips: Buy em is a list of players that have the potential to break-out (and produce solid numbers) that should be bought, sold to, or traded to for lower-rated players IMMEDIATELY.
Rasheed Wallace- (PF/C, DET)- Wallace has been struggling throughout the past two weeks. He has averaged a mere 12.40 PPG, 5.20 RPG, and 0.80 BPG over his last five games
Suggestion: If you are in need of a big man, Wallace is capable of shooting threes and blocking shots. His numbers are below average lately and he could be easily traded to for lower-ranked fantasy players. Sheed's numbers are soon to rebound.
· Marc Gasol- (C, MEM)- Gasol has been called an inconsistent rookie regarding to his play in the past few weeks. He is not averaging fantasy appealing numbers.
Suggestion: Before Marc’s slump he scored double-digits in 10 straight games. This proves that he clearly has the potential to put up fantasy numbers, and should be traded onto your fantasy team for low-rated fantasy players.
· Greg Oden- (C, POR)- Oden has had injuries, decreased playing time, and inconsistent numbers. He has averaged 7.60 PPG, 7.20 RPG, and 1.00 BPG over his last five starts.
Suggestion: Oden has started the last few games and has gotten an increase in his playing time. Oden’s value is currently comparable to low-rated fantasy players and should be traded for one in your fantasy league immediately. Look for Greg to start producing solid numbers and having fantasy appeal in the weeks to come.
Fantasy Tips: Trade em is a list of solid players that should be traded from your fantasy team ASAP because of their injuries, unreliability, or playing time.
· Tracy McGrady- (SG/SF, HOU)- T-mac has been bothered by an injured knee all season long. He is no longer a reliable fantasy player due to his reoccurring injuries.
Suggestion: Tracy stated that he would be out for at least three weeks because of the soreness in his knee. McGrady returned earlier than planned and missed a triple-double by only one assist Friday night. Now is the PERFECT opportunity to trade T-mac for as much as you can get before he gets injured again (by a gust of wind.)
· Marquis Daniels- (SG/SF, IND)- Marquis has been playing stellar so far this season averaging 16.14 PPG, 5.81 RPG, and 2.19 APG in 35.2 MPG.
Suggestion: Mike Dunleavy is eyeing a return sometime this month and will cut into Daniels fantasy appeal drastically. Marquis should be traded in the weeks to come for as much as you can get before Dunleavy returns to the starting lineup.
· Kevin Love- (PF, MIN)- Kevin Love has averaged 11.40 PPG, 12.20 RPG, and 2.00 APG in his last five starts.
Suggestion: Love is on fire the past weeks and should be traded for as much as you can get right now before he goes into another rookie slump. Don’t regret it when his numbers drop for good, trade him immediately!
