NFL Week 9 Predictions: Bills Spoil Jets' Season and More NFL Predictions

Gabe ZaldivarNov 4, 2011

As Prince said, let's go crazy. Well, I guess he sang it in a freaky fashion, but the sentiment applies here. The best week of NFL action we have had in sometime is here and I have the early answers to the question of who will win some of these matchups.

We have seen quite enough of these teams that we can make a great deal of gross assumptions and feel fine about it. I know who the Buffalo Bills are. They will never "wow" us with their defense and rely heavily on its offense putting up their numbers, much like those guys from New England

We also know what we get from the New York Jets.  Underperforming and lack of elite quarterback come to mind. We can stop the talk of Mark Sanchez being elite and file him with Tony Romo as inconsistent stars.

That said, here we have a few games and the answer to their ultimate question.

Jets at Bills

A game that should be a shootout will come down to mere inches. I have the Bills winning by a smidgen at home, as the Jets will continue to have issues with the run.

I understand that the Bills are facing a fine secondary, however, they can rely on the ground game to open that part of the offense up. Furthermore, as you can tell, I still have no faith in Mark Sanchez.

The Broncos have looked awful on offense. They have trouble moving the chains with the ground game and the passing game is, well, Tebowesque.

Tim Tebow may one day be a competent passer, but it won't be this weekend against the Raiders with the Black Hole on his back all day long.

I really had this game targeted as the Packers' first loss, but that was a couple weeks ago. At that time, the Chargers looked like they left their bumbling ways to the start of 2010.

However, they are back in full effect and Philip Rivers' doppelganger will foul things up once again this Sunday. You can't make mistakes against the best team in the league and get away with it. I am confident the Chargers will make more than just a couple mistakes.
