Rex Ryan Playing Patriots Fan in New Adam Sandler Movie Is Golden
We all know that Rex Ryan is a different kind of coach. He isn’t the silent say nothing type of coach like, Bill Belichick or the control freak type of coach like Tom Coughlin.
Rex is the type of personality that is not afraid to say what is on his mind. If something is irritating him, he will let you know. If he does not like another coach or player, he will let you know.
Or if he wants to dress up as his brother, like he did before the Jets played the Cleveland Browns, he will, just to add another entertainment value to his games.

Now, Rex is coming out in a future Adam Sandler movie, not only as a lawyer, but as a New England Patriots fan.
Sandler was on the Rich Eisen podcast and said about Ryan’s character in his next movie, “Ryan is a Boston-based 'inexpensive' lawyer in the still untitled movie. Sandler says Ryan was 'loose and funny' about playing 'a mammoth Patriots fan' who talks about Bill Belichick and Tom Brady—a detail that was written into the script for the Jets coach."
Now, this is not the first time that Rex has played a part on a television or movie. As Rex has played himself on the television show, CSI: NY, where he doesn’t take a shot at the Patriots, but one of the actors grills the Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum.
Earlier this year, Rex was back in the media because of the Patriots, as he put a challenge out to the NFL demanding that someone else beat the Patriots, because his team was tired of being the only ones to defeat the ‘Pats.
This will not be the last time that we see Rex Ryan do something in the media this year. The same goes for acting in movies or television shows, as Rex will find a way to pop up somewhere.
Rex may be brash, bold, eccentric, a loud mouth or bat bleep crazy. But, it’s something that the NFL needs. Rex is a walking headline any time he steps in front of a camera or microphone.
The Adam Sandler movie cameo will probably be only for a scene or two, but it will be one of the most talked about things from the movie.
But, just like Bleacher Report’s Eric Bowman tweeted out:
Yes, thank goodness he isn’t in Jack and Jill, he may have gotten a heavy fine from NFL Commissioner, Rodger Goodell, for appearing in such a horrible movie.
