Here’s the LestersLegends’ Week 9 2011 fantasy football defense rankings.

1. San Francisco @ Washington: The Niners are giving up league-low 15.3 ppg. They have 21 takeaways and 16 sacks. Washington is scoring just 16.6 ppg.
 

2. Houston vs. Cleveland: The Texans are giving up just 286.8 yards and 18.1 points per game. The Browns are averaging just 15.3 ppg.

3. Dallas vs. Seattle: Dallas has 21 sacks. The Seahawks have allowed 28. Plus they are only scoring 15.6 ppg.

4. Cincinnati @ Tennessee: The Bengals average 297.4 yards and 17.6 points per game. The Titans are averaging just 19.9 ppg.

5. Green Bay @ San Diego: The Packers are giving up just 20 ppg with 16 takeaways. The Chargers have yet to get on track.

6. Kansas City vs. Miami: The Dolphins are scoring just 15.3 points per game and have allowed 27 sacks.

7. Oakland vs. Denver: The Broncos are scoring just 19 ppg. Tebow continues to struggle.

8. Philadelphia vs. Chicago: The Eagles have 22 sacks. The Bears have allowed 21 sacks.

9. Baltimore @ Pittsburgh: Expect an extremely physical game though the offense should put points on the board.

10. Arizona vs. St. Louis: The Rams are scoring just 12.4 points per game and have allowed 27 sacks.

11. Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore: Injuries could begin taking their toll on the Steelers. Playing at home helps.

12. Atlanta @ Indianapolis: The Falcons aren’t a defensive powerhouse, but the Colts are averaging 15.1 ppg.

13. New York Jets vs. Buffalo: The Bills are one of three teams averaging 30+ ppg, making it hard to rely on the Jets.

14. Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets: The Bills have 18 takeaways and could force Sanchez into some mistakes.

15. St. Louis @ Arizona: Arizona has allowed 24 sacks and committed 13 turnovers.
