NFL Week 15 Predictions: Toddler-Style
Dinner's burned, the house is a mess, and we forgot to take a bath, but Walden's Week 15 picks are in.
It took two days and countless games of chase, but he's finally done.
For those of you that missed it, 17-month-old Walden started his prognostication career last week with two simple picks: NFC South games—Tampa Bay at Carolina and Atlanta at New Orleans.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He was wrong on both accounts and he's sitting on an ugly 0-2, but he's determined to come back strong in Week 15. Because the boy likes a good challenge, he's stepped up to the entire league this week.
If you missed last week, the premise is simple.
The way this system works is Dad, that's me, writes the teams on a piece of paper.
Example: "Saints at Chicago"
Then I hand my son the crayon and he makes his selection. The selection is determined by how long he lingers and scribbles on one team's name or the other.
Got it? Good, let's begin.
Saints at Bears
Okay, yes the game is over. But trust, me, he picked this game. In fact, he didn't even consider it. He went straight to Chicago. I was proud of the lack of love he showed the Saints.
Walden's pick: Chicago
Green Bay at Jacksonville
He stewed on this for a moment. It was snack time when he made his selection, so between bites of an apple, the pick was made.
Walden's pick: Jacksonville
Lions at Colts
I hoped Walden wouldn't look foolish with this pick. Haven't I taught him anything? It turns out, he knew what he was doing. He liked this pick so much he gave me a high-five.
Walden's pick: Colts
Redskins at Bengals
I almost decided to call this pick a push. It's like he seemed intent on not picking it. He was either losing interest or something about the seven-point favorite Redskins concerned him.
Walden's pick: Redskins
49ers at Dolphins
Yo Gabba Gabba!, one of his favorite shows, came on and I lost his focus for a while. He likes the guy with the long green arms. I prefer Plex the robot, but I almost always prefer robots. Five hours later, he made his selection. Clearly, he had some things to think about. I couldn't find my phone for a while, I think he made some calls
Walden's pick: 49ers
Seahawks at Rams
When bad teams collide, there's often no line, as is the case here. There's nothing interesting about this game.
Walden's pick: Rams
Tampa Bay at Atlanta
I kept my mouth shut. NFC South teams are 24-2 at home this season. That's tough to ignore.
Walden's pick: Atlanta
Buffalo at New York Jets
He made this one tougher than it should have been. But then again, so have the Jets.
Walden's pick: Jets
Steelers at Ravens
It's hard to ignore all the talk from these two teams on this game. "Blood bath" and "bounty" have become synonymous with this matchup. The line on this game is a 1.5 in favor of the Ravens. It's the 4:15 game, so he'll be watching.
Walden's pick: Ravens
Broncos at Carolina
It was close to bedtime when this pick was made. Honestly, he didn't seem to care much. The Panthers are favored by 7.5. I know what I said about NFC South home teams, but I'm personally leaning towards the visitors.
Walden's pick: Carolina
Chargers at Chiefs
This pick reeks of insider information.
Walden's pick: Chiefs
Vikings at Cardinals
A Minnesota loss makes the NFC North that much mediocre. Does Arizona have anything to play for now that they've clinched a home playoff game? I suppose a bye would help them out. Warner's still playing for the MVP. Walden will almost always prefer animals.
Walden's pick: Cardinals
Raiders at Patriots
Wouldn't the Raiders love to ruin the Patriots improbable playoff hopes?
Walden's pick: Patriots
Giants at Cowboys
I think I saw Walden roll his eyes when I mentioned the Cowboys. Maybe he was sleepy, but I think he's as sick of the soap opera as everyone else. I have to sympathize with the kid though, it's like picking the lesser of two evils.
Walden's pick: Giants
Browns at Eagles
Every time Walden hears the Monday Night Football song on ESPN commercials, he does a touchdown dance. But he dances to most everything. Anyone hotter than the Eagles right now? The rest of the NFC is hoping Philly loses.
Walden's pick: Eagles
As I review Walden's pick, I must say that I think he went the conservative route here. The 49ers and Chiefs picks are very interesting though.
If this week goes well, my boy may have a 1-900 number by next week.
