Week 10 College Football Picks: Oklahoma State and Top Teams That Will Cover
Playing the top teams in college football every week of the season thus far has been paying off big time.
It won’t change this week.
Despite some tougher matchups for these powerhouses, I expect them to continue dominating their opponents and covering point spreads, no matter how big Vegas tries to make them.
Let’s take a look at these juggernauts that are sure to cover.
Oklahoma State (-21) vs. Kansas State
It’s another week and another projected cover for the Pokes.
They are 7-0 ATS right now, and have not only been covering these spreads, they have been obliterating them.
It seems that the bookmakers can’t find a line high enough for this high-powered offense. This week they are 21-point favorites against the No. 14 team in the nation who just lost and failed to cover for the first time last week.
Kansas State had a magical run, but they enter the meat of their Big 12 schedule and it’s not looking good. Look for them to get crushed by the Pokes.
Alabama (-4.5) vs. LSU
The biggest game of the year is sure to draw some action from gamblers. I expect it to be the most bet-on game of the regular season, and the line shouldn’t bounce around any more than between four and five points for Alabama.
I love Nick Saban and I love an enthusiastic and packed Bryant-Denny Stadium during a prime-time night game.
If you are betting on the Tide, those are the factors that make them the clear favorite here and they should handle their business by at least a touchdown.
Stanford (-21) at Oregon State
Andrew Luck and his Stanford teammates have been doing work on large point spreads all season.
Blame the weakness of the Pac-12 for Stanford consistently having to go up against three-touchdown-plus spreads, but man are these guys doing just fine against them.
They got a lucky push last week against USC thanks to their triple overtime victory, and that’s the closest they’ve been to not covering.
I expect them to absolutely dominate the Oregon State Beavers in Corvallis as they tune up for an anticipated showdown with the Oregon Ducks next week.
