WWE News: Latest on Triple H Facing Kevin Nash at Survivor Series

Kevin Nash returned to the WWE at SummerSlam in August, and it looked like he was headed for a feud with CM Punk.

However, that supposed Punk/Nash feud quickly turned into a Punk/Triple H rivalry. From there, it’s now somehow evolved into a feud between Nash and Triple H. 

Yet, here we are—three months later—and we still haven’t got a match between the real-life best buddies. We might have to wait even longer, too. 

From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestleZone.com):

With WWE claiming that Triple H will be out of action for up to 6 weeks due to his story line injury, there is a possibility that the Triple H vs. Kevin Nash match might be held off until the TLC PPV in December.

"

I’ll be honest—I’ve lost most of my interest in this program between Nash and Triple H. I’m not all that worried about seeing these two wrestle each other at any point.

Even so, the WWE has invested a ton of TV time in this feud. I’m not sure why they would hold it off a big pay-per-view like Survivor Series if they want people to actually care about it, anyway.

Putting big-time matches on B-level PPVs—like they did with Punk vs. Triple H at Night of Champions—usually means that there’s less of a chance that fans are going to go out and buy it.

There are plenty of people who, given the ridiculous amount of WWE PPVs in a given year, save up and only buy the Big Four. I don’t really know a whole lot of people who save up for WWE TLC, though.

Thus, if I was on the WWE creative team, I’d make sure that I found a way to get Nash vs. Triple H on the Survivor Series card. If it has to be in a traditional five-on-five match, so be it.

Not that I’ll cry a river if that doesn’t happen.
