If you’re like me, you may try to avoid the spoilers for Friday Night Smackdown in order to actually be somewhat surprised when you watch the show.
Of course, I often wind up reading them anyway, like I did this week. But for those who haven’t seen them and don’t plan on it, here’s a spoiler-free preview of tonight’s episode:
"Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight
Ted DiBiase vs. Tyson Kidd
Backstage segment between Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan
Alicia Fox vs. Natalya
In-ring segment between The Big Show and Christian
Backstage segment involving Christian, Sheamus and Wade Barrett
Sin Cara vs. a debuting superstar
Mark Henry vs. Daniel Bryan

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
After gathering information from all the spoilers that I’ve read, it appears that this will be a very good episode of Smackdown.
Orton vs. Rhodes is getting some great reviews online, and Kidd vs. DiBiase features two of the more underrated WWE stars, so it should be pretty solid depending on how much time it gets.
The Alicia Fox vs. Natalya match? I’m sure we’re not missing a whole lot there.
But the segments involving Big Show, Christian, Sheamus and Barrett could play a huge part in Smackdown storylines going forward, and the debuting superstar who faces Sin Cara is something I think many of us will enjoy seeing.
As much as the main event, though?
I’m not sure because I’ve actually been wanting to see Bryan vs. Henry for a while now, so I have high hopes for Bryan in this one—it could be a big opportunity for him to prove to WWE officials that he has what it to takes to work at the main event level for good.
All in all, Smackdown looks like it will have some pretty decent in-ring action and a lot of newsworthy items as we get closer to Survivor Series. So, be sure to watch it or set your DVRs.
