Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings: Tom Brady, Arian Foster and Top Scorers
The first half of the NFL season featured tremendous performances by a number of players, and the second half shouldn't be any different.
The standout games by some players resulted in huge fantasy points, which definitely won them their matchup. I know I'm not the only one who lost in fantasy football because Miles Austin caught three touchdown passes or DeMarco Murray ran for 253 yards.
The show that some of these NFL players put on is really amazing, but it's even sweeter when you have them on your fantasy team.

With that said, here are my projections for the top three scorers of Week 9.
Brady was held to his lowest total fantasy points last week against the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers defense. It was the first time all season he failed to pass for more than 200 yards, but he will make his fantasy owners forget all about that in Week 9.
The Patriots host the New York Giants on Sunday, and even though their defense has been steadily improving, Brady will still put up great numbers.
ESPN's John Buccigross tweeted this morning just how good Brady could end up being this year.
Week 8 will be an afterthought once Brady and the Patriots put up big points over the Giants on Sunday.
Brady is hungry for a win, and he's not going to perform poorly for a second straight week, especially since he'll be at home.
Arian Foster
The Houston Texans take on the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, and since Andre Johnson might not play again, it's up to Foster to deliver the big plays.
Despite a spat with his fantasy owners to begin the year, Foster is certainly pleasing them now since he's elevated his game with Johnson on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. In fact, Foster was so good these last few weeks, he received an award.
Foster rushed for over 100 yards three times last month, and the chances of extending his streak of 100 yards rushing to three straight games this Sunday is very high.
The Browns rushing defense is 26th in the NFL, and Foster will take full advantage of that. Expect a huge day from the Texans' feature back, as Foster will lead all fantasy running backs in Week 9.
Michael Turner
The Atlanta Falcons hit the road to battle the winless Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, and Turner is going to have a monster performance. He's well rested after the bye week and ready to roll over Indianapolis.
The Colts run defense ranks 31st in the league, which means the Falcons will keep doing what they've been doing: running the ball.
Reggie Hayes covers the Colts for the News Sentinel and he tweeted how impressive Turner has been so far this season.
They don't call him Michael "The Burner" Turner for nothing. He may be 247 pounds, but he has a great burst of speed that pushes him beyond the secondary.
Turner has two straight games of over 120 rushing yards, and he could easily make it three on Sunday. Atlanta doesn't need to steer away from the run game, even though the Colts pass defense is also one of the worst in the league.
Rounding out the top five for the top fantasy scorers of Week 9 is Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers and Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears. Rodgers takes on the Chargers, and he's not going to miss a beat coming off of his bye week. Forte takes on the Eagles, and he will continue to do everything for the Bears offense, which results in a great fantasy day.
