The 5 Worst Fashion Statements in NFL History

The uniforms in the NFL have gone through some pretty dramatic changes over the years.  Not just the changes made for safety, but also for what some people think is "style."

The throwback jerseys that teams typically put on once a year are neat for younger people to see who are just learning about the league. However, there are some jerseys that should just never come back in circulation.

Tampa Bay Throwback

Don't these creamsicles look so delicious? Not really... These uniforms are enough to make anyone want to vomit. Whoever thought this color scheme was okay must have been hitting the rum buckets a little to hard.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... one really comes to mind when looking at this picture- horrible.

The socks are enough to make your head spin.  It's a good thing the team has made a total turnaround with the colors as well.

Any Cleveland Browns Uniform

When your name is team name is the Browns, your uniform choices are automatically limited. There hasn't been one decent Browns jersey in the history of the team.

Maybe when Nike comes along things will look up in Ohio.

Green Bay Packers Throwback

The Green Bay Packers have some great players who look like ultimate badasses when they take the field, except in these throwbacks.

How is anyone supposed to be intimidated when it looks like Pacman is on your jersey? 

Philadelphia Eagles 75th Anniversary

The first time I saw this it looked like the San Diego Chargers were on the field. 75th Anniversary or not, there is no reason for this uniform to see the light of day, especially in Philadelphia.

Let's hope that whatever Nike brings in the future will be better than what we have seen in the past.
