NFL Week 9 Predictions: Drew Brees and QBs That Will Bounce Back

Take a look at the NFL scoreboard for Week 8. There weren't too many really shocking results, but there were a few. 

There are a few others that while not particularly shocking, definitely produced losers that aren't used to losing. 

Fortunately for those teams and fans of those teams, those losses will not turn into winning streaks. Why am I so confident? These quarterbacks won't let it happen.

Drew Brees

Brees can get a little turnover prone at times. He's clearly one of the NFL's best quarterbacks and is well on his way to building a Hall of Fame résumé, but still needs to cut down on those picks.

One of the games to spotlight that fact came against the Buccaneers a few weeks ago.

This one is in New Orleans, where Brees is a much better quarterback and the Saints are a better team. He'll carry his team to a victory, evening the season score with the Buccaneers in the process.

Tom Brady

Brady just doesn't lose many games. The Patriots are always one of the best teams in the league, and he's the primary reason for it, at least as it relates to their players. 

He'll also have a bit of revenge on his mind, as this is the first time the Patriots have played the Giants since perfection was ruined in Super Bowl XLII. 

Nothing will ever remove the string of that loss, but look for Brady to lead his team to a measure of revenge in this one.

Tony Romo

Romo is not quite Tom Brady or Drew Brees, is he? No, but he's actually a very good quarterback. 

I don't see the Cowboys blowing the Seahawks out. The entire Dallas team is inconsistent, and that doesn't lead to many blowouts.

But in the fourth quarter, Romo will put his team over the top. His status with the fans alternates from week to week in Dallas, but this week will produce a positive result for Romo and his team.
