49ers vs. Redskins: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More

T.J. McaloonNov 2, 2011

The Washington Redskins (3-4) look to stop a three-game losing streak as they host the red hot San Francisco 49ers (6-1).

The matchup features a Washington team that is trying to pick up the pieces after getting their butts whipped by the Buffalo Bills last week. However, the 49ers are looking to continue their winning ways, as they are one of the best teams in the league.

When: Sunday, Nov. 6 at 1:00 p.m. EDT

Watch: FOX

Betting Line: According to Bodog.eu, the 49ers are a -4 points favorite, which is a great line to take. The Redskins are terrible on offense, while the 49ers are one of the better teams in the league

Betting Over/Under: According to Bodog.eu, the over under is 38 points. Take the under, as the 49ers will not give up a lot of points or score that many as well.

Who Might Not Play for San Francisco: DE Ray McDonald left last week’s win vs. Cleveland with a hamstring strain. Coach Harbaugh doesn’t know if McDonald will be available for Sunday.

Who Might Not Play for Washington: WR Santana Moss is still out due to a broken hand.

Fantasy Big Players: San Francisco, RB Frank Gore: Frank Gore has been one of the best fantasy running backs this year. He will continue to put up huge numbers this week, as the 49ers' first option will be to run the ball, to set up the pass.

San Francisco, QB Alex Smith: Alex Smith, in previous years has been a player you had to avoid. But this year he has played some exceptional turnover free football. This week against the Redskins, he will have another day of 200-250 yards and two touchdowns.

Washington, TE Fred Davis: Davis is the only player on the Washington roster that you should have on your fantasy team. John Beck does not like to throw it down field, and will continue to find Davis on short passing routes. Last week, Davis led the team in receiving and will do it again this week.

Key to a San Francisco Win: Let Frank Gore run the Redskins to death. He is the best player on the field and is a huge reason for San Francisco’s success this year. If they can get him going, it will take pressure off of the passing game, allowing Smith to find receivers downfield.

Key to a Washington Win: It’s cliche, but play turnover free football. They have to find a way to stop Gore and make Alex Smith win the game on Sunday. If Washington can play ball control, getting Ryan Torain and Roy Helu going, it will help in keeping this game low scoring, which will favor the ‘Skins.

Prediction: San Francisco 28—Washington 7.
