Week 9 Fantasy Football Rankings: Fred Jackson and More RBs That Will Dominate
Adrian Peterson is enjoying his bye week, which gives other running backs an opportunity to shine brightly and stake claim as the league's top rusher. So, which RBs will have the biggest weeks and make fantasy football owners happy in the process?
Beanie Wells, Arizona Cardinals
Wells has been terrific when given enough carries, picking up at least 12 points in five of the six games he's started. He should be in line for another big game against a weak St. Louis Rams front seven.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Rams rank 31st against opposing fantasy running backs, including an 18-point outing from New Orleans' weak backfield last week. Wells will continue to be one of fantasy's biggest surprises thanks to another double-digit scoring day.
Week 9 projection: 17 fantasy points
Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
Forte is dominating while he angles toward a new contact, whether it be from the Bears or another franchise. He ranks fifth in scoring average among backs and scored 23 points versus Tampa Bay before resting up during the bye last week.
He should pick up right where he left off with a game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. The Eagles have had trouble tackling all season and that's a recipe for disaster against the determined Forte, who should find the end zone at least once.
Week 9 projection: 18 fantasy points
Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills
Even though Ryan Fitzpatrick has been getting most of the attention and just received a huge contract extension, it's been Jackson (who is also looking for a new deal) that has been the biggest reason for Buffalo's offensive improvement.
He hasn't scored fewer than 15 fantasy points since Week 1 and will be leaned on heavily against the Jets, who haven't had much success against the run in 2011. It's an important game for both teams and the Bills will make sure their playmaker touches the ball as often as possible, leading to a big day.
Week 9 Projection: 20 fantasy points
