Can Arsenal Keep Going Against Middlesbrough?
Finally, after what seemed like a decade and a half Arsenal put consecutive wins together. Hopefully this gives Wenger's youngsters a real boost of confidence to go on and not drop a single point until next September.
Arsenal were fantastic in the second half against Chelsea and thanks to some brilliant work by Dutchman Robin van Persie Arsenal clinched the vital three points in a 2-1 thriller.
Their recent Premiership game saw them up against Wigan and it was a game some players would love to forget. It was a tacky game with not enough passes being strung together by both sides. Fortunately Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor pounced on some poor Wigan defending and slid the ball into the right corner.

So now the Gunners have consecutive wins which should give them belief against Middlesbrough and hopefully inspire them to take the three points. Arsenal can not afford any more losses in points or they will fail to be the first team to win the Premiership with five losses.
I believe Arsenal can still win this but they need to take points against teams they would usually beat. Arsenal have lost to many games this season against teams they would usually beat and this is were it stops.
Arsenal have a much stronger team then Middlesborough and with Emmanuel Adebayor back to full fitness it is a relatively full squad. Arsenal need to use their speed and balance, the likes of Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy need to be way more attacking than they have in recent weeks. Both need to overlap their wingers and help out by playing useful crosses for Adebayor and van Persie.
Unfortunately their is a huge injury cloud so we will have to wait and see what the final squad is, but hopefully it is near full and the likes of Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor will play huge roles in a possible Arsenal win. Cesc Fabregas will be vital for Van Persie and Adebayor seeing lots of the ball, Fabregas needs to do what he did so well last week and provide the appropriate balls to the frontmen who will find space and have a crack.
This win is crucial if Arsenal want to be a title threat. A win here will inject much needed confidence and belief in the Arsenal squad and will help Arsenal get out of this form slump. The Gunners desperately need to find consistency and it can come from this game, a win means a hat-trick of wins is on the board and Arsenal can hopefully win back the Premiership trophy.
