BCS Implications

For Wisconsin, they still have a great shot at winning the Leaders division of the Big Ten Conference. They should win this game and will continue to win building to their division championship game, against Penn State.

Wisconsin Player to Watch: QB Russell Wilson

Wilson is still the best player on this Wisconsin team and quite possibly, is the best player in the Big Ten. He will have to have a great game on Saturday, if this Badgers team is going to be successful on Saturday.

Purdue Player to Watch: LB Joe Holland

Holland had an interception against Michigan that he returned for a touchdown, which was Purdue’s only score on the day.

Key Matchup: Wisconsin WR Jared Abbrederis vs. the Purdue secondary

Jared Abbrederis went off last week against Ohio State in a losing manner, as he set a career high of six receptions 113 yards and two touchdowns. He will have another huge day this week against the Purdue secondary, as QB Russell Wilson will be looking his way a lot on Saturday.

Prediction: Wisconsin 65, Purdue 17
