The Florida State Seminoles have completely lost their way this season, but the lack of real talent on the defensive side of the ball for BC will allow Florida State to open it up. I’ll still take Florida State giving the points.

I’m going over here, and I mean way over. This game has all the makings of a shootout with 40 points being put up on both sides, and there is a good chance the combined score is in the 60s at the very least.

Florida State was an early-season juggernaut, but bad losses have kept them from gaining any real significant spot in the top 25 or the hunt for a BCS bowl berth. This game is more about pride and just getting on the right track.

Keys to a Florida State Win

While Florida State has one of the best defenses in college football, they are traveling almost 1,000 miles to Boston college and I don’t think they will be ready for the opening punches. If the defense can withstand the offensive onslaught in the first quarter, they will win.

Keys to a Boston College Win

Just like a boxer that knows he won’t last 12 rounds with his opponent, the Boston College Eagles need to come out swinging and hope to stun the Seminoles. If they get down early, Florida State can lose it mentally and BC can capture the upset.
