Mike Tolbert Injury: Updates on Charger RB's Week 9 Status and Fantasy Value
San Diego Chargers running back Mike Tolbert missed Monday night's game with a hamstring injury, and it's clear the team could have used him in an upset loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Hamstring ailments tend to linger, so his playing status for next week's clash with the Green Bay Packers is up in the air.
Keep checking back to this page throughout the week for the latest updates on Tolbert's availability and potential fantasy value.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Not only is Tolbert looking like a go for Sunday, there's also a good chance he'll be the lead back if Ryan Mathews is unable to play. That would make him a must-start fantasy option.
Tolbert's fantasy owners will be left in a bind because they have to monitor the availability of both guys leading up to Sunday but, as things sit now, he's looking good.
UPDATE: Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6:10 p.m. ET
Mike Tolbert didn't play on Monday night, but it sounds like he could be good to go when the Chargers take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Per Rotoworld, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora said on Tuesday that he thinks Tolbert is going to start and "get a lot of carries."
The Chargers had better hope Tolbert is okay, as second-year running back Ryan Mathews came down with a groin injury on Monday night. He might not be able to play against the Packers.
If you have Tolbert on your fantasy team, consider this good news and an open invitation to pencil him into your starting lineup.
That said, continue to monitor his status. Nothing is final yet.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune posted his Monday notebook and listed all of last night's inactives, along with the reason for each absence. There was no new information to report on Tolbert's hamstring and probably won't be until mid-week.
"Luis Castillo (leg), Kris Dielman (concussion), Shaun Phillips (foot), Darrell Stuckey (groin), Mike Tolbert (hamstring), Gerald Hayes (not ready to play two weeks after signing with Chargers) and Ogemdi Nwagbuo (odd man out) were inactive on Monday.
"
Tolbert is second on the team in catches, behind only Ryan Mathews, which highlights the offense's problems so far in 2011. We'll update his status as more information becomes available.
