Manny Pacquiao Signing Hennessy Endorsement Brings Added Hype to Marquez Fight

Every fight needs to be promoted well, and when one boxer signs a million dollar deal a couple of weeks before the big fight, it certainly adds hype and pressure to something that continuously needs it. 

Money is important to everyone, especially when a boxing match between two big names is about to occur. There is a lot of money to be made, which is why the fight must be hyped up well in advance. 

According to MB.com, Manny Pacquiao has inked a new deal with Hennessy, and blacksportsonline.com says the deal is worth $1 million. 

Pacquiao will make a lot of money in his fight again Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12, but this recent news certainly helps stir the pot. 

The boxing match will be the talk of the town for the next two weeks, and now that PacMan has picked up another endorsement, it means he has to deliver.

At 53-3-2, Pacquiao typically comes through with a win, and that is what most are expecting in two weeks.

However, if he falls to Marquez, Hennessy won't make as well with this new deal.

Pacquiao has picked up several big-time endorsements over his fantastic boxing career, and when you think about how he is also a politician, it's kind of funny he has these large contracts with corporations.

Companies such as Nike and Hewlett-Packard saw how Pacquiao is loved by all, so of course they grabbed him up to help make them money.

Gaining sponsors is what smart star athletes do to increase their status in the celebrity world, which ultimately brings in more money for them.

Athletes may love the game a ton, but they certainly love getting paid more.

For PacMan, this new deal is no surprise considering his fight isn't too far away. The big payout from Hennessy only adds pressure to Pacquiao, but it's something he has had to deal with time and time again.
