NHL Trade Scenarios: Kyle Turris and Players to Help the Boston Bruins Offense
Kyle Turris is one of many players the Boston Bruins could trade for to help their struggling offense score more goals.
The defending Stanley Cup champions have gotten off to a terrible start at 3-7, and are currently in last place in the Eastern Conference.
Bruins stars like Milan Lucic, Nathan Horton and David Krejci are really struggling to find offense, and it's clear that a change needs to be made, even if it's only a small move.
Let's look at five players the Bruins should target in a potential trade to improve the offense.

Rick Nash
1 of 5Columbus Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash is one of the best power forwards in the NHL, and is a better version of current Bruins forward Milan Lucic.
The Blue Jackets are the only team worse than the Bruins in the league standings, and are really struggling themselves.
The Bruins have a couple million dollars in salary cap space which would need to be used to acquire Nash because he has a cap hit of $7.8 million.
The Bruins might not want to take on that kind of contract, but Nash is a superstar player who would flourish in a real hockey town.
Jarome Iginla
2 of 5Another power forward the Bruins could acquire is Jarome Iginla, who would bring the passion and energy that Boston is really lacking right now.
Iginla hasn't won a Stanley Cup in his career, and his desire to win would help the Bruins get back that fire and determination they had last season.
It would be very hard to get Iginla because the Calgary Flames seem pretty sold on keeping him, but the Bruins should at least try.
Kyle Turris
3 of 5Kyle Turris recently asked the Phoenix Coyotes for a trade, which they denied. It seems like Turris does not want to spend his future in Phoenix, who are struggling as a franchise right now.
I don't blame him.
The Bruins have some good young prospects in the minors and on the NHL roster which Phoenix may like, and it's possible a deal could be worked out if both sides agree to talk.
Turris is a fantastic offensive talent who could be a franchise center for years.
Stephen Weiss
4 of 5Stephen Weiss is a good center the Bruins should look to acquire, and with the Florida Panthers usually looking to cut salary, Weiss may be a player they look to trade for younger value.
Weiss has four goals and five assists this season for nine points, and has done well with little talent around him.
In addition to his scoring, Weiss would give the Bruins another leader on the ice.
Out of all the players on this list, it would take the least amount of quality talent to get Weiss from Florida.
Rene Bourque
5 of 5Rene Bourque is another player whose name has been involved in trade rumors this season, and he's certainly an offensive player the Bruins should consider trading for.
Bourque would give Boston a quality winger with good goal scoring skills, and he has scored five times already this season.
He has scored 27 goals in each of the last two seasons.
It would take a good amount of talent to get Bourque, but the Bruins need a winger who can score goals and be effective on the power play.
