Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We finally got some closure on Andre Johnson's status, at least as far as week 9 is concerned. Voice of the Houston Texans Marc Vandermeer tweeted a grim post on Friday afternoon.
It seems Johnson will have to rest another week. Fantasy owners should have had a plan B by now. If not, you better scramble to find one. There is no telling when Johnson will be 100%. The fact that he worked out should lend some hope, but you never know with a hamstring injury.
Until fully healed, Johnson could suffer a flare at any point. It's best to get your hands on a backup in case this lingers on past week 9.

The roller caster ride continues.
After practicing in the beginning of the week, soreness has set in for Johnson. It was been severe enough to keep him off the practice field the last two days. Now NFL.com fantasy expert Michael Fabiano tweets out the information we all saw coming:
So there you have it.
This decision isn't going to be made until 90 minutes before the Texans play Cleveland. Considering it's the 3-4 Browns, the Texans would be wise to hold him out for just one more week. Especially when you consider the Browns are the second rated pass defense in the NFL.
At this point I'd keep him on the bench for one more week.

Andre Johnson was back working out this Monday and Texans fans were certainly excited to hear it.
He's still listed as day-to-day, but he did not work today because he was "sore" according to beat writer Nick Scurfield:
It was given day off from his coaches and wasn't anything to be sincerely worried about.
He is still working back from a nagging hamstring injury and will be monitored for quite some time.
Even if Johnson is working his way back to the field it will be risky to play him until he is a full-go.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports updated Johnson's status, and it isn't overly encouraging news. The Texans offense could really use his playmaking abilities back in the lineup, so they are hoping he can finally get over the hump this week.
We'll provide more news as it becomes available when the practices ramp up during the week. Fantasy owners are just as desperate to get Johnson back as the Texans at this point.
