NFL Power Rankings: Which Teams Are Clearly Worst in the League?
After Sunday's games the NFL still boasts two winless teams, the Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins. Both squads have proven themselves to be the absolute worst teams in the league and neither shows any sign that it will break out and turn things around.
The Colts dropped to 0-8 on the season as they were knocked around by the Tennessee Titans 27-10 in Week 8. Tennessee made easy work of Indianapolis, jumping to a 20-0 halftime lead and putting things into cruise control from there on out.
All of the Colts' worst traits were on display Sunday afternoon as quarterback Curtis Painter was all over the place, the defense looked soft and the offensive line leaked like a sieve.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Indianapolis currently ranks 31st in total defense, allowing 402.9 yards per game, while the team is also 30th in total offense, putting up just 294.9 yards per game. The Colts are easily one of the two worst teams in the NFL and until they get star quarterback Peyton Manning back, it should stay that way.
While the Colts have certainly had their struggles, the Dolphins dropped to 0-7 on Sunday and they might be the worst team in football. For the second week in a row, Miami saw a late lead evaporate and turn into a loss. The Dolphins led the New York Giants 17-10 with less than 11 minutes remaining, and were up 17-13 with less than six to go. The Giants managed to sneak by Miami 20-17.
All losses are bad, but the Dolphins seem to have perfected the art of losing from ahead, especially after their debacle against the Denver Broncos in Week 7.
With starting quarterback Chad Henne done for the season with a shoulder injury, Matt Moore has stepped in to take over and with the way he has played I have to believe he's just keeping that spot warm for Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
I firmly believe the Dolphins are the worst team in all of football, and eventually they will land Luck in the 2012 NFL Draft.
