Chris Johnson: Tennessee Titans RB Is Completely Worthless in Fantasy This Year

Chris Johnson is a complete and utter bum this year and has as much fantasy value at this point in the season as Jamaal Charles.

After signing a $53 million-plus deal this offseason, Johnson finally returned his lazy butt to the Tennessee Titans training camp with less than a week until the regular season kickoff.

He was expected to start rough as he found his legs again, but no one expected him to be one of the worst backs in the entire league, and after eight straight weeks of just disgusting play, you can safely say Johnson is easily one of the worst starting RBs in football.

Johnson matched up against the Indianapolis Colts this past week, an 0-7 team going into the game and it was widely expected that CJ would have his breakout game against them.

Well anyone who watched or can even glance a box score knows he certainly didn’t do that and regressed further if anything.

Johnson had just 14 carries for 34 yards and three catches for 17 yards. His backup, Javon Ringer, had 14 carries for 60 yards and five receptions for 42 yards.

Nate Washington also scored the only rushing touchdown.

There is obviously something wrong with Johnson if his backup is outperforming him and a scrub WR is vulturing the rushing touchdowns.

It’s time to send Johnson to your fantasy bench just like coach Mike Munchak did with the real CJ’2K’.

Pick up Javon Ringer until Johnson proves he isn’t a complete waste of time and money, which may not even be this season.

Ringer is going to continue to see touches, as Johnson is a malcontent, blaming everyone but himself for his struggles.

It’s really a shame that a guy who makes so much money and was almost unanimously a first-round pick in fantasy is now just a complete joke. Let’s hope he gets it back together soon.
