Brandon Jacobs: Disgruntled Running Back Will Cause Rift in Giants Locker Room
The New York Giants are leading the NFC East, but it looks like trouble is brewing in the locker room.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who follows the Giants with any regularity, and head coach Tom Coughlin has seen his fair share of controversy because of the things and choices he has done and made.
From Antonio Pierce to Plaxico Burress, there have been stars on the Giants that have felt passed over by the coaching staff and underutilized, and this situation is no different.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brandon Jacobs was talkative after the Giants' victory Sunday, and he tried dancing around his displeasure to ESPN New York:
"I’ve got nothing positive to say. The most positive thing: I got family at home and I got a fast-ass car being delivered on Tuesday. That’s it. I can’t say nothing. I always say something for everyone else’s dislike. I don’t know what it is—a lot of people hadn’t gotten their fun and games out. I’m with them, me too. I don’t know what it is. Been in the league for seven years and seven times I think we’ve struggled.
"
There is no question that Tom Coughlin plays favorites, but as the head coach of one of the biggest franchises in the NFL, that’s his prerogative.
Jacobs amassed just four carries for 10 yards and a single catch for zero yards, most of which came during the time Ahmad Bradshaw spent on the sidelines with an injury.
There is no doubt that Brandon Jacobs will not be back with the Giants next season, but while he is still with the organization, Jacobs will be a disruptive force for the team and divide the locker room the way it was between Eli Manning and Plaxico Burress.
