5 Current Quarterbacks Who Could Fix the Broncos' Woes

Larry LawsonOct 31, 2011

It is just plain wrong that Tebow has all of this pressure on him.

However, anyone who knows football understands that all of the blame is either directed to the coach or the quarterback. In this case, I believe most fans know that their future quarterback lies elsewhere.

This list explores current NFL quarterbacks who can help Elway get on the highway to victory.

5. Jason Campbell

1 of 5

I think the fact that Oakland spent so much money to bring in Carson Palmer could make this one an easy choice, and—oh yeah—the fact that Campbell found out while watching TV didn't help.

Campbell knows he is out, yet the fact that he is classy enough to hang on the sidelines and cheer his team on speaks volumes about his character.

4. Dennis Dixon

2 of 5

Dixon is in a contract year and said that he will not re-sign with the Steelers.

He is athletic, and if given a chance could turn out to be a real good fit in Denver.

3. Mike Kafka

3 of 5

Kafka is young, but it doesn't seem that Philly is going to give him a chance after bringing in Vince Young.

Kafka is a big quarterback who reminds me of Big Ben at times. I think Denver could pry him away from the Eagles pretty cheaply.

2. Chase Daniel

Chase Daniel has a lot of potential and may be worth a high price, but Elway should make the deal happen.

1. Caleb Hanie

5 of 5

Hanie showed in last year's NFC Championship game that he is not afraid to step up when needed.

He has the tools, and I believe that he is one of the best backups who is poised for a starting role. I hope Denver makes a move to get him next year, because he has the talent.
