Georgia-Virginia Tech: Dawgs Pull a Last-Minute Upset Over Hokies

Albert Jackson hit a late bucket and grabbed a last-second rebound to lead Georgia to a 67-66 win over Virginia Tech last night in Athens.

The game was a solid rebound in itself for the Dawgs, who’d fallen 76-42 to Illinois on Saturday...including a 22-0 whitewashing down the stretch.  “It’s a ridiculous turnaround,” said Jackson.  “It’s the same caliber team and we lose by 30 one night, then come back and pull it out in a tooth-and-nail battle.  I think it just shows the resolve of our team and where we’re headed.”

That or it shows that Georgia has a chance in home games, but will probably get destroyed on the road.  Depends on how you look at it.
